Scripture Commentaries
I dedicate this morning's post to the departed Pastor Dare Adeboye, the second son and third child of our Father-in-the-Lord and Mother-ln-Israel, Pastor E.A. and Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye, who passed on to glory in Eket on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
The departure to glory of one of RCCG's most inspiring and influential youth Pastors and leaders came as a shock but "Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. ► Acts 15:18.
He was Youth Provincial Pastor and Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, Akwa Ibom. He would have marked his 43rd birthday on June 9, 2021.
Losing a child at any age is heartbreaking for any parent. Our faith is being tested by this untimely death.
We commiserate with Daddy and Mummy Adeboye over this sudden loss but with comfort, 1 Thess 4:13.
A reflection, to followers of all ages, of one of the pains and agony in the painstaking journey of devoted leaders and servants of God in the Lord's service ever known in their hearts, not seen by many, but known only to God, their Refuge and Comforter.
We must take time to pray for our leaders.
Walking with God is beautiful and rewarding. Though tough, He gives strength to the weary soul.
Isaiah 40:29-31 ► He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Isaiah 61:2 ► He gives "....comfort all that mourn;"
Pastor Dare Adeboye was not sick, in fact, he was reported to have gone straight to bed after a ministration, instructing that no one disturb him until his wife became worried over his unusual long sleep.
He passed away, in his sleep.
Truly, God "....grants sleep to those he loves." ► Psalm 127:2.
It simply opens our minds to see that sleeping and waking up is a blessing that we always underate, it has been a blessing underrated by us all.
We that have woken up this morning to read this epilogue, tribute or eulogy, are no better, than those who have departed (ref Lk 13:4), but by His mercy, we see this new day and are thankful.
Whichever way God chooses, is best known unto God, Himself.
It is an irreparable and irreplaceable loss only Christ can repair and restore.
Pastor Dare Adeboye, is truly asleep now.
We are sure in Christ, that we will see on the resurrection morning!
May the LORD grant our Daddy and Mummy, Pastor E.A. and Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye solace, balm to soothe this painful exit, comfort, and the fortitude to bear this loss, in Jesus name.
Reflections
Revelation 21:4 ► And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
There will be a resurrection morning, when all the Saints will meet again, never to depart.
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
He remains forever in our hearts, just like every of our departed loved ones.
May His memory be cherished and blessed, in Jesus' name.
Prayers
Lord encourage and comfort Daddy and Mummy GO and the entire family. Let them finish strong and faint not.
Lord, please do not let us see a recurrence of early death in our midst. Life will be well spent, we will serve God to the end, and may the God of mercy show us His goodness in Jesus name
Good morning all.
God bless you as you go today and Shalom.
