In any given situation, we can choose to love, regardless of how we feel.
Scripture Commentaries
The best way to deal with hurts is to choose to love.
If you choose to love regardless of how you feel about someone, you will overcome them and their hurts.
We read the scriptures regularly about love, 1 Cor 13, but it has not changed us any more than it would improve our characters because of the choices we make.
We must read, study and meditate on the scriptures and more importantly pray for understanding that finds expression in our characters.
Knowledge of the scriptures does little if we make wrong choices.
Paul says in 2 Cor 3:3, we are the Epistles of Christ, not only as written in our hearts but as seen and known by others.
True love is God's love and God's love is perfect love, 1 John 4:17.
Let us take people like ourselves.
Rom 12:10– Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

When you imprison love, you enslave yourself.
Call to Word action
If we truly feel for the people we hurt, we will hate to hurt them.
