REJOICE IN FIERY TRIAL (2).

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*REJOICE IN FIERY TRIAL (2)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

James 1:2 *My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations,..*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Glory in tribulations, rejoice in fiery trial.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Christians suffer misadventures.

Misfortunes and misadventures have struck great men of God, and these have shaken our faith as Christians. These have had many of us asking ourselves, 'How can we explain this'?

If we find ourselves asking this question, let us be comforted because Paul asked the same way in Rom 8: 31

*What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?*

He further said something that was a warning to us all.

This is that in anything that happens to us, God must never be blamed because He can never be at fault. Whether natural mishap or not, He has given us adequate knowledge to avert, and if not brought under control, He remains God.

Paul said in Rom 8:33 *Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.*

He further says in v 35-37:

*Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?*

*As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.*

*Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.*

Every distress must bring us closer to fearing God than separate from Him.

The world has done more harm to itself than the good God intended for it, but by His grace, we can rejoice that we are more than conquerors and see each day as a gift from Him to us.

In this world, intended human input, people on suicide missions, self-induced violence, and mass murder have contributed to misadventures in which Christians have died.

The world is in rebellion against God and Christians as sufferers with Christ suffer along with God.

Peter says we should not think it *...strange concerning the fiery trial,*

He says they are to try us.

When fiery trials in the form of misadventures happen to other Christians, they affect fellow true Christians, and if adequate care is not taken, it could affect their faith in God.

It is right to say that in as much as a fiery trial faces a Christian, the faith of others may be challenged too.

Where other's faiths are torn between sliding back or enduring further, there are those who laugh at the Christian's fiery trial. Heb 11:36.

Most of today's misadventures to Christians must never be bases to judge ourselves whether the deceased was of faith or not.

Sufficient to say, we must earnestly pray against carelessness, inadequate routine checks of mechanics, instruments, unqualified, inadequate techs, proffessional oversight, failure to obey road or aviation traffic rules, unexpected failures, sudden or unexpected unfavorable weather conditions, alcoholism in operation, all these in addition to those mentioned before could be contributory factors.

The devil is on his prowl, but we have solace in God and must see every travel mercies as a gift from God.

No expertise has kept us but God.

This is why we must always be thankful.

Every journey of life is a risk just as there is evil every day, Matt 6:34.

Every provocation is a trial.

We must not deal with unpleasant matters in our lives until it becomes necessary.

We must work on ourselves now. If we fail to, the devil will bring the altar of unpleasantness to destroy us when we matter to God, Numb 20:11.

Rejoice in every fiery trial. It is to try you. Ask God to help you overcome.

To rejoice is one of the potent ways to drive the devil mad. It is one of the most potent ways to tell the devil he has lost the war.

Rejoice in fiery trial!

*Remorse corner.*

There is a reward.

James 1:12 *Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.*

*Call to Word action*

Jam 5:11 *See how blessed we consider those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

1 Pet 1:6 *In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials.*

*Prayer.*

Though there may be sorrow and persecution in the world, l will overcome everyday, in Jesus name.

(John 16:33).

Good morning all and be blessed as you come into His presence today.

God bless you.
