Scripture Commentaries
Intimidation is a tool of the enemy to subdue, discourage, terrorize the believer.
The enemy is also intimidated by the power of God in us.
God has given us stature. So, we ought not to be intimidated but the enemy should be intimidated. Paul charged us in strong terms to resist intimidation, stand firm against it. It is meant for the enemy.
The Moabites were terrified by the number and growth of the Israelites, in our text of today in Numb 23:3.
In our second text in 1 Sam 4: 9, a Philistine challenged his comrades to step up and act like men so they do not become enslaved to the Hebrews. In his words to his fellowmen, he said, "Be strong, and quit yourselves like men."
The enemies are to be intimidated by us not we be intimidated by them. Intimidation must not subdue or overcome the believer.
Anytime intimidation comes, the believer must remember the Apostle's charge in
1 Cor 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Are you intimidated? Pray to God for help to stand against it. Do not be intimidated.
Do not quit!
Remorse corner
To overcome intimidation, the believer must step up a moral conviction not to quit but to exercise manly valor to forge forward irrespective of the challenges.

Zechariah 4:6-7 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
