BE AT ALERT, BE VIGILANT (2)

Updated: Jan 6, 2022

Acts 20:31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.

Insight and Highlight

Acts 20:31 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Scripture Commentaries

The devil will use any medium to draw the believer into perdition.

Satanism and its destructive influences over gullible brethren cannot be undermined and must be taken with all seriousness.

If it were not a serious matter, Paul will not labour and travail for three years, warning the brethren.

It is sad though, that some in Paul's days, saw his exploits as a way to keep the brethren under him or populate his ministry rather than the ultimate reason of keeping them away from grievous wolves, Acts 20: 29.

Be alert, be watchful.

Remorse corner

The words and tears of Paul, though agelong years ago still find expression in the church today. We do not see the Apostle's face but his tears still echo.

Call to Word action

2 Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

The Christian clarion duty

Satanic deception is real, be careful.

Prayer

Keep me standing, let me not be a victim of Satanic deception, let me not fall into his hands, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
