Insight and Highlight
Psalm 124: 2, 6 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side when men rose up against us. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
Scripture Commentaries
The impact of Satan in Job's life teaches us the devil does not delay once permission to afflict is granted him.
It also teaches that no matter how strong the principle of evil is in the world, it is nevertheless held in check by God who directs all things to work to His own ends and to the good of those who love Him, Rom 8:28
It also teaches God will not put the lives of His own in the hands of Satan.
Though Job was afflicted, Satan had no rights over his life.
Why will you not thank God?
He has not allowed Satan to have control of your life?
Lam 3:22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not.
Thanks be to Christ, you are not on the devil's death roll.
