Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Insight and Highlight Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. The earth in its fullness has been given to us, we do not need to bow to Satan to have dominion, receive and enjoy the earth's blessings.

However, we see today just as in Bible times how people bow to the devil in other to have life's riches, fame, dominion, etc. Paul's letter to Timothy says in pursuit of life's riches, some fall "...into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. He further says for the love of money, is the root of all evil ".....which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows., 1 Tim 6:9-10. Some crave after fraternities and sororities for fame, the position of influence, long life, etc.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. Satan has nothing to offer you. Do not bow to him to receive what God has ordained that you be given you freely. Go to God. He has freely given us all things, Rom 8:32.
Remorse corner Flee covetousness. There is nothing free with Satan. Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

The Christian clarion duty Remember Satan's word to God concerning Job. He says a person will give up everything in order to stay alive. He sees everyone as selfish because he is selfish He said in Job 2:4 And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. Do not bow to Satan, do not be his prey for selfish and ill-gotten wealth.
