WHEN THE CROSS BECOMES A REJOICING (4)

Ps 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Insight and Highlight

The ground is level at the Foot of the Cross.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.


Scripture Commentaries

Everyone has a burden. The rich (Eccl 5:10, 12), the poor (Prov 14:12).

God's request that you cast your burden upon the LORD is an open invitation to all and sundry.

By this invitation, the beauty of the cross is revealed and it became level ground.

Anyone who believes can come. Rom 1:16 says "....for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..."

No one needs to have or possess any special qualifications.

There are no queues, no shortcuts.

Everyone is invited - rich or poor, young or old, no matter your race, gender, or the sin in your heart, ref Isaiah 1:18.

Take your rightful place, place your burden, prayers, petitions, supplications at the foot of the cross, today! You will receive solutions and answers today, in Jesus name.


Remorse corner

Jesus sacrificed His life for all who would come to Him. We are all equally in need of His mercy and grace.


Call to Word action

Jesus destroyed all barriers and made sure the ground was level at the foot of the cross, Heb 4:16.

Matt 28:50-51  Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.


The Christian clarion duty

The cross is a leveler. Rom 1:16 says ".....to the Jew first and also to the Greek.


Prayer

Lord, let my cross turn into a testimony, in Jesus name.
